Government of Assam has resolved to establish Dhemaji Engineering College at Dhemaji which was placed before the State Assembly during the Budget Session in 2016- 17. Government of Assam has also resolved to start the academic program at Dhemaji Engineering College from the session 2020-21. To get admittance into this institute, one must have to clear the mind boggling Assam CEE examinations held in May of every year. This college provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in three fields mainly- Mechanical, Civil and Computer Science & Engineering.
